Welcome to IchiEnSou!

IchiEnSou was renovated in late 2007 to make your stay as comfortable as possile and yet retain the original features of the original house which was built during the 1920's. We have one 4 bed female dormitory and one 7 bed mixed dormitory.

Ideal location

IchiEnSou is located in an idyllic location, one street off the main street in Gion, Kyoto. The guesthouse is quietly located, yet close to main attractions, near both the city centre and numerous famous temples and shrines. It is only 5-6 minutes walk to the CBD and 1 minute to the street where Geisha are seen as a part of ordinary day life.
